Foundation 2026 Transition Begins!

It has been wonderful welcoming our 2026 Foundation students to Springvale Rise over the past couple of weeks! Our youngest learners have been exploring their new classrooms, meeting teachers, and making new friends as they take their first steps into school life. The transition sessions have been filled with smiles, curiosity and excitement as children participated in a range of activities to get them school ready and feeling confident and comfortable for next year. A big thank you to our Foundation team for creating such a safe and welcoming environment.

MLC Excursion to Twisted Science

Our Middle Learning Centre (MLC) students had a fantastic day out at Twisted Science in Moorabbin last week! The excursion provided exciting, hands-on opportunities for students to explore scientific concepts through a range of experiments and interactive exhibits. Highlights included stretching out giant bubbles, examining insects under microscopes, testing balance in the upside-down room, and riding a bike that converted energy into charging a phone. 

FLC Excursion to Chesterfield Farm

Our Foundation students had an amazing adventure at Chesterfield Farm! Students loved getting up close to the animals and learning about farm life. Highlights of the day included feeding the animals, meeting some very friendly cows AND seeing Mrs Asaridis milk a cow and chase a goat. The hands-on experiences helped bring their classroom learning about animals and living things to life. Thank you to our staff and wonderful parent helpers who made the day such a success.
