Colour Run

St Joseph's Colour Run
St Joseph’s came alive today in a flurry of colour, energy and community spirit. Our senior students, led with enthusiasm by Callum, Max, Jamie, Bridget and Pip, organised a vibrant and joyful Colour Run afternoon as part of our school fundraising efforts. It was a delight to see students of all ages participating, supporting one another and embracing the fun of being covered in bright colours. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, teamwork and plenty of laughter.
This year, our Colour Run is raising funds for the Opening The Doors Foundation, a First Nations–led organisation that supports families in choosing and accessing the most appropriate educational opportunities for their children in non-government schools. Established in 2000, the Foundation began by supporting 32 students and now assists up to 1000 First Nations students each year, many from Prep through to Year 12. Their work ensures that families are empowered to make meaningful choices about their children’s education and to nurture long-term learning pathways.
A big thank you to Mrs Smith for her work behind the scenes in helping to coordinate and set up today’s successful event. It was truly a wonderful celebration of community, culture and student leadership.
It is an absolute delight to announce that we have raised $1068.15 through online and cash donations! Thank you so much for your generosity towards this cause.
