The Flying Bookworm Theatre Company 

On Wednesday afternoon, the Year 1/2 students were treated to a magical live performance by the Flying Bookworm Theatre Company to celebrate our Fairytale Writing unit. The excitement was high as the talented performers brought three well-loved stories to life, including Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Ugly Duckling and The Gingerbread Man.

Adding to the fun, some of our very own POPS students were invited to join the cast on stage, taking on roles alongside the actors. The audience loved seeing their classmates transform into fairytale characters right before their eyes!

The performance had everyone laughing, clapping, and completely captivated from start to finish. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to see storytelling in action and to understand how expression, movement and imagination can turn words on a page into something truly special.

The Flying Bookworm Theatre Company reminded us that stories can come alive anywhere. All you need is a book, some costumes, a few good friends, and a big imagination! The Year 1/2s left inspired and eager to act out their own creative tales back in the classroom.
