Remembrance Day
With the wet weather on Tuesday, we needed to adapt and go ahead with our Remembrance Day Prayer Service in a different way this year. Traditionally, we have gathered as a whole school in front of the flagpoles but we needed to pivot and stay indoors.
Our Social Justice Student Leaders led the prayer service over the PA system, with all of our school communities following along with a slideshow in their classrooms.
The students in year 6 did a marvelous job of reading clearly and keeping everyone in the school in sync with the prayer. It really was a beautiful and reverent moment.
Ephesus Mass (Year 3) Next Week
Next week, Wednesday 19th Nov, is the celebration of the Mass with the Ephesus Community. Their theme is 'One With Jesus'. In John's Gospel we are taught how to be one with Jesus - like a branch connected to a vine.
