The finals are upon us, congratulations to those teams who have made it, and commiserations to those that missed out. No game was more nail biting than the 4th XI who secured a 0-0 draw which allowed them to avoid a trip to Bathurst for their semi final: players parents and coaches all breathing a sigh of relief to avoid the commute.
Semi finals have extra time and penalties if required.

Rugby
Despite the challenging weekend out at Oakhill College, SPX rugby players demonstrated resilience and a never-give-up attitude on the field. In particular, the 15A’s taking out the team of the round as they played some cohesive rugby all the way to the final whistle. This weekend we take on Kinross and Scots All Saints at home. Please check Clipboard for confirmed fixtures and good luck this weekend.

The committee’s focus this year is to maximise the appeal and to encourage as many parents as possible to join us for a great opportunity to mix with other parents and friends of the school. And, of course, to have fun. We are particularly keen to see more mums participate this year. Pull together a 4-Ball or just join as a single … either way a great day is guaranteed.
Details to follow but expect the usual array of golf prizes, celebrity guests/speakers, sponsors and, (tbc), a hole-in-one prize of a brand-new car!
Please direct any queries to Clive Johnston (0410 440 335) but in the meantime please block out the afternoon in your calendars to avoid disappointment!

I sincerely appreciate your participation this season. You have shown tremendous effort, despite the challenging weather conditions! Please find the standings for your divisions below:
Division 1: Third place
Division 2: Sixth place
Division 3: Fourth place
Division 4: Fourth place
Division 5: Sixth place
Division 6: Sixth place
Division 7: Third place
Division 8: Fifth place
Division 9: Fifth place
Division 10: Fourth place
A fantastic result overall! Thank you so much for to our development squad who have been spectacular to our coaching staff and have shown great improvement.
I can’t wait to see everyone back in action next year!
