Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

What a fabulous week it has been at Holy Family! From exciting classroom activities to inspiring achievements in sports, public speaking and music performances our school community has been buzzing with energy and enthusiasm. Our students continue to amaze me with their dedication, creativity, and spirit, making this week truly memorable. Whether it’s been in the classroom, on the field, or during special events, the commitment and joy of our students, staff, and families have shone brightly.

Act of Kindness

Highlighting the importance of kindness is a beautiful way to recognize the efforts of the Conquest builders (Coles Development). Their willingness to volunteer their time and energy to move the heavy timber boards for the Lindfield Art Show and Fair exemplifies the spirit of togetherness that strengthens our school community. Such acts of kindness not only make events like the Art Show possible but also foster a sense of connection and shared purpose among everyone involved. Sincere thanks to Ali and his team of workers, your act of kindness has saved us a huge amount of time.

Happy Father's Day

St Joseph offers the fathers of our community a strong and positive role model. A hard working, quiet achiever, St Joseph was a stable and sensible voice in the life of Jesus. St Joseph was a source of great wisdom for the maturing Jesus. Fathers and Grandfathers of Holy Family, we salute your paternal work and offer great thanks to you. Please remember, when the going gets tough, consider asking St Joseph for guidance and wisdom. St Joseph is the Patron Saint of Workers.

Father’s Day gives us an opportunity to recall and affirm the particular gifts that fathers, grandfathers and father figures bring to families and our school community. This includes our personal fathers, grandfathers, uncles and important father figures in our lives. Whether it is their sense of humour, ability to see the positive side of difficult situations, patience even when they are tired, or their wise words of encouragement and love, this Sunday we hope that all dads, grand dads, father figures and uncles enjoy a wonderful day.

On behalf of our school community, a heartfelt thank you to Loretta, Norah, and all the Year 4 parents for their hard work in organizing the delicious Father's Day breakfast and fitness session. Thank you to Mr Clarke, Mrs Overton and the Senior students for the beautiful liturgy. Your efforts made the day truly special for all the fathers and father figures in our community!

God, bless all fathers and father figures in the world.

Guide them to be good role models and loving to all their children.

Help them to be a father like You are,

Give them the grace and peace to handle situations in a loving way.

Amen.
