Wow! Can you believe we're heading into Week 9 of Term 3!? The kids have certainly come a long way and we are so proud of their achievements so far. 

Father's Day Fun

Last week, the kids decided to surprise their Dad on Father's Day with some yummy home-made chocolate truffles. They did so well not to 'taste test' their masterpieces along the way and we hope all of the dads enjoyed them.

Writing:

The past fortnight the kids have been practising using the word 'because' to create compound sentences. We have had lots of practice with different sentences and this week, they wrote about the hissing cat. As you can see, their writing skills are improving every day and their use of their letter-sound knowledge to help with spelling is really coming along.

Grade 2

We have had a fantastic two weeks in Grade 2!

We had an excursion to the Kyabram Bocce Club and Grade 2 Camp at the Pioneer Settlement in Swan hill. All students should be so proud for how they conducted themselves! Please see our Facebook page for photos.
