Care for our Common Home - Sustainability News

St Mary's Garden Club

Each Wednesday at lunch time is Garden Club. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. We enjoy working collaboratively, learning from and with one another to care for our common home and look after our beautiful Community Garden. Last week we were very busy and together planted 40 Sheoak trees! The trees came from Willum Warrain as part of the Junior Landcare grant we received in 2023/2024. Willum Warrain is a 100% Aboriginal community-owned bush nursery specialising in local indigenous plants from the Mornington Peninsula. Fantastic team work by all involved!

Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop ~ Quote of the week

As we continue to journey with Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop each day at St Mary's let us live out her wise and comforting words: "Gratitude is the memory of the heart."

How does this quote resonate with you?

What are you grateful for today?

How can you apply it to your life?
