Yr 3-6 ACPS students have been working incredibly hard with Gavin Andrew and Warrandyte High School in the lead up and its looking terrific! I was lucky enough to attend a 'taster' of Act 1 this week with Grade 4 and 5 students and was so proud to see our students shine with their smiles, enthusiasm and colourful costumes.

Hand-crafted Instruments

A focus this term in Prep and Grade 1 this term has been about using imagination and experimentation to explore musical ideas and sounds. This past fortnight students have brought home their hand-crafted instruments. They are created with love and exploration of the different sounds and pitches (high/low) different materials can make.

Lets Dance!

We've been exploring Hip Hop in all classes this week with step-by-step instructions to learn some routines. It was great to see students pumped when they could put it all together and keep up with the music!
