In an age where there is a training manual for almost everything, there is still no manual, map, or compass for carrying out one of the most important and impacting tasks on earth—fathering! Join us for a RAISING FATHER'S Evening as we unpack practical advice and share stories that are powerfully important, impacting, informative and instructional for fathering in today’s world. Robert Falzon is a husband, father, businessman, published author and co-founder of men ALIVE. Since the founding of men ALIVE in 2003, this work has delivered 450 events across 26 dioceses and numerous schools in Australia and NZ reaching more than 30,000 men.

INVITATION TO PRAY THE ROSARY WITH YOUR CHILD DURING AUGUST

During August we invite you to join with your child before school to pray one decade of the rosary on a Thursday morning. 

The Rosary will be led by students across the grades. 

• What: Rosary with your child.
• Time: 8.30am - 8.40am (10 mins)
• When: 29th August
• Where: Holy Family Church

Please come along to Holy Family Church at 8.30am. The children's prayers can be offered for your special family intentions. 

CLASS MASS

Year 1 will be attending Friday Class Mass on Friday 30 August 9.10am at the Holy Family Church with their teacher and we would love you to join them.

Students who are reading a ‘Prayers of the Faithful’ will be given these prayers to bring home and practice.If your child is reading a prayer we would love you to read with them if you are available.

We will be offering hospitality after Mass so parents and grandparents can enjoy a coffee together and meet new and old friends.  Feel free to bring a plate.

INVITATION TO CLASS MEDITATION 

Parents are welcome to join their child's class for meditation which helps support their well-being and faith to grow. These sessions will be held at 2:45pm in the church.

YEAR 3 FIRST HOLY COMMUNION FAMILIES

We are looking for volunteer students with their parents to read a Prayer of the Faithful during the Communion Commitment Masses which are every Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 9.30am until Sunday 8 September.

Please email Mary on pollingerm@syd.catholic.edu.au if you are interested. There is room for six students and their parents for reading the Prayers of the Faithful.
