BOOK WEEK CELEBRATION HIGHLIGHTS

This year’s Book Week was filled with exciting events that brought literature to life! Here are some of the highlights:

PERFORM EDUCATION: MAYBE A MIRACLE!

Last week we began our Book Week celebrations with MAYBE A MIRACLE!, a new educational musical adventure from Perform Education.

MAYBE A MIRACLE! took us on an interactive journey, showcasing how to make the most of every situation and the incredible impact of positive thinking. The musical celebrated the magic of books and featured selections from the 2024 CBCA Shortlisted books.

The performance reminded students of the endless possibilities that books can offer.

ST AIDAN'S BOOK WEEK PARADE

This year’s Book Week parade was a HUGE success, bursting with costumes and imaginative characters from beloved books. Students, parents, and staff came together to celebrate literature in a fun and magical way.

From pirates to fairies, manga to minions,  the creativity on show was truly impressive. A big thank you to all the parents and carers who supported their children by crafting fantastic costumes and encouraging a love of reading.

The parade was a fantastic showcase of the magic of books and a wonderful community event. We look forward to more celebrations of imagination and reading in the future!

BOOK THEMED ACTIVITIES

Students enjoyed a range of  activities based on their favorite books, creating bookmarks , enjoying some fantastic gymnastics, kahoots and puzzles. It was a great way to enjoy quality literature and finish our book week celebrations.

Happy Reading!
