Port to Pub Rottnest Channel Swim
Congratulations to our incredible swimmers that competed in the Port to Pub 19.7km Rottnest Channel open water swim from Leighton beach to Rottnest Island on Saturday 21st of March.
Swimmers conquered the challenge in optimal conditions with calm seas and warm sunny skies. Medals well deserve after an epic day on the water!

- Year 12 mixed team of 4 Juvies, Sea Cucumbers: swimmers Natalia Cliff-Nemeth and her teammates; Rafferty, Grace & Levi.
- Year 11 mixed team of 4 Juvies, The Blueberries: swimmers Penny Sharp; Madison Jenkins; Jay Richards and Lennox Smart.
- Year 10 mixed team of 3 Invincibles, The C Team: swimmers Joshua Clifford, Damon Clifford and technologies teacher, Mrs Tracy Clifford.
- Year 9 mixed team of 4 Juvies, Tutti Frutti: swimmers Grace Highman and her teammates Hamish, Lily, Max with Mr Laycock as skipper.

HASS House Food Drive
On the 26th March we ran our first HASS House Food Drive!
Our families were exceptionally generous donating over 120kg of donations for Food Bank including easter goodies which will make a family in needs easter.
Special mention to Ms Bukaauskas's 7 Challenger, Ms. Nicholson's 7 Challenger and Ms Enderweit's 11 Amity who were all very generous.
🏆 The winning class was Ms. Sweetman's 9 Investigator 💚 and the winning house was Challenger 💙.

Duke of Ed Student Meeting - Core and Recess - Wednesday, Week 1 (22/4)

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (Duke of Ed) is a globally recognised program that helps students grow beyond the classroom through fun, meaningful experiences. It encourages students to try new things, build confidence, and develop skills that last a lifetime.
Students set personal goals, build on interests they already enjoy, and challenge themselves with something new. Activities can include anything from sewing or cooking to playing rugby, improving fitness or volunteering in the community. The program is flexible, student-driven, and focused on discovering strengths and passions.
What is involved?
• 3 Levels – Bronze, Silver and Gold
• Students choose activities that suit their interests and goals
• One activity in each section:
- Voluntary Service
- Physical Activity
- Skill
- Completing a team-based Adventurous Journey (expedition)
