Big Steps for Little Feet - We have received notification from the Western Advocate that the photographs for Big Steps for Little Feet will be published online on March 23, and will appear in the following Saturday's paper.
NAPLAN started this week for our Year 3 and 5 students. They have completed Writing yesterday and Reading today. Conventions of Language and Numeracy will be held next week.
I have received an email from a resident who lives close to the school, informing me that parents have been parking across her driveway at drop off and pick up time. This is resulting in her not being able to get in or out of her driveway at these times. Please ensure you are leaving all driveways clear at all times.
Staff and executive have noticed an increase in the number of students who are refusing to follow teacher instruction particularly in the classroom. This in turn is impacting the learning of all students. As a staff we are addressing this issue at school. Staff may contact you if your child is refusing to follow instructions, so we can work together to support all our children. We would appreciate your support. Please talk to your child/children at home about being respectful to all adults and the importance of following teacher instruction.

Western Tennis Trials Success!
Earlier this term, Gus, Bismarck, Nathan, Daniel, Roman, and Amelia were selected to represent our school at the Bathurst District tennis trials. Their selection was a recognition of their skill, dedication, and sportsmanship on the court.
On Monday at the Western Tennis trials, our school was well represented by Gus and Nathan. Both boys showed tremendous skill, sportsmanship, and determination, playing with passion and focus against strong competition.
A special congratulations goes to Gus, who successfully made it through the round robin stage and advanced into the final 8 players. This fantastic achievement highlights his exceptional talent and commitment to tennis.
We are very proud of all our students who represented the school at these important events. Their participation reflects their dedication to their sport and our school community.
Congratulations to all, and thank you for inspiring your peers through your achievements and team spirit. We look forward to watching your continued success on and off the court!
