Principal's Message

Welcome to Week 9 – Leongatha Primary School

We are excited to begin Week 9, which promises to be a busy and memorable week for our students!

A highlight of the week will be our Senior Athletics Sports Day on Wednesday 25th. This is always a fantastic event where students have the opportunity to demonstrate not only their athletic skills, but also their school spirit, teamwork, and encouragement of one another. We look forward to seeing students proudly representing their houses and supporting their peers throughout the day.

On Friday 27th, we will be holding our School Photos Day. This is a wonderful opportunity to capture special memories of the year. We encourage all students to come in correct school uniform and ready with their best smiles as we document these important moments in their school journey.

Please also note that on Tuesday 24th, there will be industrial action taking place. Further details are available via Compass; however, the following disruptions are expected:

• Prep: All classes are not required to attend
• Grade 1: All classes are not required to attend
• Grade 2: All classes are not required to attend
• Grade 3: All classes are not required to attend (exception: 3H)
• Grade 4: All classes are not required to attend (exception: 4H)
• Grade 5: All classes are not required to attend (exception: 5L)

• Grade 6: All classes are not required to attend (exception: 6H)
