From the Principal

The cold weather has caught up with us over the past week or so. You may have noticed me on the yard with my 6 or 7 layers, plus my beanie. Just a note that if it is raining in the morning there will be a sign on the ramp gate for student to move into the school office foyer where they will be supervised by myself or Mrs George until 8:30am. The gate along the front of the school will also be open for families to come through and the green gates near the toilets will be opened early (only on rainy days), for students to make their way to the office foyer.

Late last week and earlier this week Mrs George and I had the pleasure to meet with our newly enrolled Preps for 2026 (I know WOW!!). The families expressed their excitement in starting their schooling at St Thomas More. We currently have 11 Preps enrolled for 2026, which puts us very close to a straight Prep class. We will keep spreading the news far and wide about our wonderful school.

As mentioned last newsletter, there will be a few days per week that I will be out of office for the next few weeks. I am attending lots of different workshops and training days that need school representation. When I am offiste I will still be contactable by email, however for any urgent matters, please speak to Ms Danielle George (Deputy Principal).
