Supporting the wellbeing of our Essendon Primary School community
The Resilienec Project recently shared something special with it's partnership schools! An independent evaluation by Monash University, has found that a long-term, whole-school approach makes a meaningful and lasting difference to mental health and wellbeing.
As featured in The Age, The Sydney Morning HeraldorBrisbane Times, the study found that, after six years, students at The Resilience Project schools saw:
Program implementation was also found to be key to these results. The mental health outcomes of high-quality program implementation have been found to be twice as high than low-quality implementation. This is a huge milestone for the program, for our EPS community share as one of the proud partnership schools, particularly as we continue with our second year of the program being run with classes from Foundation through to Year 6.
