District Cross Country

On Thursday 15th May, 50 students participated in the Brunswick District Coss Country Championships. The blue skies, no wind and a course that had a penetrometer reading of 1.5, provided ideal conditions for fast races. These conditions were obviously enjoyed by all BNPS students who performed magnificently.

The support given to all students by their peers during each event was amazing! A massive thankyou to Mr Cody, Mr Michael, and student teacher Percy for supporting the students at this event.

Congratulations to the following students who have qualified to the Divisional stage:

Jaguar B, Fletcher D, Remy VD, Jack L, Adelaide W, Georgia M, Imogen G, Petra S, Freddy W, and Jarvis G.

Chess Club

Please note: the BNPS Chess Club takes place every Wednesday at recess in the upstairs portable. All students are welcome to play for as long or as little as they like, in a fun and friendly environment.

Watch out Golf World!

It is not very often that any school has two students selected to represent their country. Huge congratulations must go to Jaguar B and Phoenix B who have selected to represent Australia at the World Junior Golf Championships! This event will take place in late July at the Pinehurst Golf Course in North Carolina, USA. The whole school community wishes both boys the very best of luck and we hope their trip includes many birdies and eagles!
