Playtime Hero Challenge – One Week In!
We’re one week into our exciting Playtime Hero challenge, and the playground is buzzing with positive energy!
Since launching the challenge last week, our yard duty teachers and sport captains have been on the lookout for students showing what it means to be a true Playtime Hero. And wow—what a fantastic response we’ve seen!
Every day, students across all year levels have been stepping up and demonstrating incredible behaviour by:
- Being kind on purpose to others
- Respecting personal space and keeping hands and feet to themselves
- Sharing and taking turns in games
- Explaining game rules clearly and including others
So far, dozens of Playtime Hero slips have been handed out and added to our big draw box in the office. It’s been heart-warming to see so many students living our school values of Respect, Responsibility, and Being a Learner during recess and lunch.
There’s still one week to go, so keep showing those Playtime Hero behaviours for your chance to win a canteen voucher at our next assembly. Three lucky students will be drawn from the box to enjoy some FREE snacks—just for being awesome role models in the yard!
Let’s finish strong and keep spreading kindness, fairness, and fun on the playground. Who will be our next Playtime Heroes?
