Junior School News

Foundation (Prep-Year 2)

1/2B have had an incredible Term 2!

Our 1/2 students have been loving seeing their friends again, learning and playing. We have been learning how to read through our phonics program, Little Learners Love Literacy.

1/2B has excelled at following the school routine and have continued developing their independence. We have expressed ourselves by writing about our targeted role play sessions in which we dressed up as different community helpers. We have been learning about quantities, particularly “more” and “less”, in Numeracy. 1/2B particularly liked making slime and selling slime at the Winter Fete. Well done 1/2B!

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

Jackson School recently held our annual Winter Fete. Lower Primary had a fantastic time organising our own fete stalls, where we sold a variety of different goods. We also enjoyed exploring various stalls and purchasing delicious food and exciting toys.

The event was filled with fun and excitement, and we can't wait for next year's Winter Fete!
