Education Week
Last week at HBPS, we proudly celebrated Education Week with the theme "Celebrating Cultures – Where We Come From and Who We Are."
Each day at recess, Mrs Lane opened her classroom to students for a special journey around the world. Through interactive activities and storytelling, students explored the rich cultures of Indigenous Australia, New Zealand, India, and Bosnia. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, share, and appreciate the diversity that makes our school community so special.
We wrapped up the week with a vibrant Cultural Dress-Up Day, where students and staff came dressed in traditional clothing representing their heritage. It was a colourful, joyful celebration of identity, belonging, and respect.
A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this week meaningful and memorable! Well done to Mrs Lane for planning a wonderful week for our students.

Spirit Cup
A massive well done and thank you to everyone who dressed up in their house colours and cheered their hearts out for the Spirit Cup! Your energy, enthusiasm, and vibrant team spirit lit up the day and truly made it unforgettable.
You cheered as loud as you could and it was heard all around Hamlyn Heights. A special well done to the Devon Crocs on the first win. It was a very close call...
