Science at Berwick College has continued full STEAM ahead across all year levels! 

Year 7 students have been exploring the features that distinguish living things, using a range of curiosities to spark discussion and curiosity. 

Year 8 students have investigated physical and chemical changes through a series of engaging experiments and demonstrations. 

In year 9, students have been studying the nervous system and how it helps maintain homeostasis - they’ve been putting on their thinking caps, quite literally, with some creative neuron modelling and brain hats! 

Senior students have been designing and conducting their own investigations or research, building skills in collaboration, scientific inquiry and analysis. 

With exams just around the corner for years 10 - 12, students should now be undertaking preparations by engaging in a regular home study routine. We wish all students the very best at this important stage of the assessment cycle and encourage them to seek support from teachers, peers and family where needed. Maintaining a healthy balance between work, study and wellbeing is very important, so remember to take breaks, stay active and look after yourself!
