Frankston Regional Clay Target Shooting Competition

The following students attended the Regional Shooting Competition and good results were achieved.

Luke Blaxland achieved a perfect score in his first round and Avril Blanksby, Jack Van Helmond and Blake Thomas all went well in their second round.

 

One of our 3 teams (Dylan, Riley, Taj, Nathan and Lachlan) WON the Best Team award for the highest team score and received entry into the State Championships at Echuca (Monday 4 September).

Proud Sporting Achievement

Congratulations to Ben De Pedro (Year 11) who recently competed in the Universal Trench 41st World Championships for Australia in Clay Target Shooting.

 

Ben individually came 7th in the World Junior classification and WON GOLD in the World Junior Team for Australia, defeating Spain and Italy. 

 

Such a WONDERFUL achievement Ben! 

Echuca State Clay Target Championships

Monday 4 September

Our competing team practiced on the Sunday and the competition was high. 

 

On Monday, we scored a team result of 113, which placed us 2nd, with the winning team score of 5 shooters, achieving a score of 121.

 

I would like to congratulate Dylan Naylor for getting a perfect score on his second round – 15 out of 15, along with Riley Hughes-Gage, Taj Durrant, Nathan Rogers and Lachlan Devine for their team orientation and great attitude on the day.

 

I would also like to thank the parents for their attendance and support on the day.
