School Values

Towards the end of last year, the Junior School Council were instrumental in driving a change to create new school values for students and teachers at Miners Rest K-6.  Each classroom space now has these school values in a prominent position for students and staff to refer to and reflect on. Students are encouraged to demonstrate these values in their classrooms, outside in the school grounds and when interacting with visitors, both on the school grounds and when visiting other locations.    Staff support students to uphold these values and acknowledge those who act as a positive role model to others.
