CATHOLIC EDUCATION WEEK MASS UNVEILING

A very special event happened during their visit to St. Patrick's Cathedral. The Social Justice Leaders with Mrs Glouftsis and Mrs Murray were part of a very special unveiling and blessing of an ICON of St. Patrick that will be displayed at the Cathedral. If you ever get the chance to visit this iconic Melbourne place of Worship, keep a look out and say hi to the Cathedral's newest ICON.

PROJECT COMPASSION (PURPLE FRIDAYS)

PURPLE FRIDAYS have been a great success this term and it has been inspiring to see many different Purples coming together for the season of Lent.

In our second and third weeks of Project Compassion, we raised a total of $195.90 and $389.65 with a grand total of $880 so far! AMAZING! Our Year 6s and Year 3s level lead by example with the biggest contributions at at $59.60 (Wk2) and $88.35 (Wk3) respectively. Through our combined efforts this money can be used to create better hygiene resources like toilets, and showers to communities in need. Let's keep up the great work!!

Please remember to bring a GOLD COIN DONATION when you wear an item of purple as part of their school uniform. Only one item of school uniform can be replaced during this time and not the whole uniform. An item of clothing can include:

  - Purple t-shirt

  - Purple headband or hair tie

  - Purple socks

  - Purple hat

This special attire is to raise money for Project Compassion and their work around the world in supplying clean water, fresh food or homes for the poorest of people in need around the world.
