Prep Learning Reflection

The Preps have settled well and have gotten back into their learning routines smoothly.In Literacy, we have been learning about the letters d, e, f and v. We’ve been practicing the sounds of the letters by building, writing and reading words with the sounds.

Each week, we’ve been diving into a new text and learning a variety of new vocabulary words. This term we’re learning about the features of narratives and have been learning about characters and settings and sequencing the events of a story.

In Numeracy, we’ve been learning about the concept of zero, have been counting up to 20 and have been learning about 2D shapes and their features.

For our Unit of Work, we’ve been sharing and learning about the varieties and different structures of our families.
