St Patrick’s Day Mass

On Friday 21st March the Social Justice Team and the Fire Carriers joined with the Social Justice teams from St Mary’s and St Brendan’s to attend the St Patrick’s Day Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral in Melbourne. There were nearly 3,000 students, teachers and priests there.

The Cathedral was magnificent with such high ceilings, beautiful architecture and stained glass windows.

At the end of the Mass there was an unveiling of a special painting of St Patrick, to hang in the Cathedral.

After the Mass, we walked to the Treasury Gardens to have our lunch and attend a concert. The concert was all bands from Catholic secondary colleges in the Melbourne area, they were fantastic! We had a great day with special memories.
