What's Happening In Primary

Welcome Back

Welcome back! We hope everyone has had a restful and refreshing holiday. It has been lovely to see the smiling faces of students and families returning to school, ready for another exciting term of learning and growth.

What an amazing Easter Assembly we had on the last day of Term One. Our Year 1/2s performed a beautiful item "The Story of the Cross", and our Year 5/6 students joined with the Secondary Choir to sing a powerful rendition of "Hallelujah". It was a moving reminder that Easter is a time to remember Jesus, the Cross, and who He is.

We are looking ahead to an exciting Term Two! Throughout the term there will be many events including our Family and Friends Morning and the Primary Cross Country. For our Year 3 to 6 students they will have the opportunity to audition for Finding Nemo Jr, which will commence in Week 2. We cannot wait to see the talent and enthusiasm our students bring to the stage.

Our Primary team has made a few staffing changes this term. We have been incredibly blessed with such a supportive team while Mr Travis Cruse is on Long Service Leave and Mrs Lauren Heagney takes maternity leave in Week 2. 

• Year 5/6 C for this term will be taught by Mrs Judith Clark (Mondays) and Mrs Mandi Scott (Tuesday to Friday)

• Music classes for this term will be taught by Mrs Alison Carn (Kinder and Prep), Mrs Madeline Newton (Years 1/2 and 3/4) and Mr Robb Dennis (Years 5/6). 

• Mrs Hannah Alexander will teach Kinder Heagney for the remainder of 2025.

• Mrs Abagael Dance returns after family leave and will take Little Sprouts on Thursdays and Jiloa Juniors on Fridays.

We are grateful to all staff for their flexible commitment, and we look forward to a wonderful term ahead together!

Family and Friends Morning
