Years F & 1

This term, we are focusing on different texts written by Margaret Wild. We have read the books Bobbie Dazzler and Lucy Goosey. After reading the books this week as a class we had a go at comparing the two stories and what the students thought were the same and different between them. It was impressive to see the ideas and connections the students made between the stories. 

In Sounds Write the students are developing confidence that they know the sounds and can listen to them when writing words. It’s incredible watching them say the sounds in words and attempt to write them. 

We have continued to work on our book summaries and the students are a lot more confident answering the questions and able to pin point what happens at certain parts of the stories.
