Our Amazing Community
News from the Parents Committee!
Dear CJC Families,
The Parents Committee has been part of CJC for many years, and we thought it was time to reintroduce ourselves 🤗
Our role is simple: to bring our community together, create fun moments for our families, and help build a strong, friendly and supportive CJC community.
Throughout the year, we organise a range of events and activities, including:
Friday Treats – pains au chocolat and icy poles (see below for Term 4’s roster)
Second-Hand Uniform Sales
Bastille Day, Multicultural Day
Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations
End-of-Year Party (This is just around the corner, a call out for volunteers will happen very soon)
and many many more!
Along the way, we also raise funds to support our school and, ultimately, our children. We have been able to fund projects including the Ninja Course, new water fountains, the Grade 6 Yearbook each year, Stanely Pde garden and play space, Principal’s Day & Teacher’s Day. As well as contributing to the refurbishment of the 1/2 building and, in partnership with EFM, the Library mural.
At heart, we are simply a group of parents who want to make our school an even better place for our children, while having a bit of fun along the way!
And none of this would be possible without your involvement. So please join us: volunteer, participate, buy a pain au chocolat, enjoy an icy pole, or simply cheer us on! 🎉 Every little bit helps.

Friday Treats: Friday Treats are back!! Both pain au chocolat ($4.50) and zooper doopers ($2) will be on sale. Volunteering for this delicious Friday afternoon treat is easy and takes about 30 minutes of your time from 3.15 pm, please let your class convenor know if you are available on your classes’ day.
