Classroom Connection

Kinder Visit to CJC!

On Thursday, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Kinder students from Guardian North to Caulfield Junior College for a fun-filled morning with our Prep students!

Miss Pank and Prep B warmly welcomed our visitors before beginning their school tour in the library, where Prep B had been patiently waiting to read them a story. We then explored the school playground and visited our classroom, where the Kinder students drew lovely pictures about their morning at CJC.

To finish off our visit, everyone enjoyed playing together kindly and safely on the junior playground!

We had a wonderful time getting to know our future Preps and sharing a little taste of school life with them. A big thank you to Guardian North for visiting us. We hope to see you all again soon!

Term 3 STEM WEEK EVENT

BY Miss Spencer & Mme Wilson

Reflecting on the end of Term 3, we're looking back on a fantastic STEM Week that brought hands-on science and technology to every corner of the school. Prep students became Weather Reporters, presenting their own forecasts on green screen; our 1/2 classes built AR worlds linked to their Geography learning; Grade 3/4 tried their hand at 3D design in Tinkercad, creating original objects to embed into their Delightex games; and our 5/6 students took on coding a Grand Prix, engineering and coding racetracks for Sphero, Indi and Dash robots. It was wonderful to see students' problem-solving, creating and collaborating across every year level. Thank you to all the classroom teachers who joined in and supported their students throughout the workshops!
