Senior School News

Upper Secondary (Years 9-10)

Russ Jackson Day- Values Week.

Last week, we celebrated Russ Jackson Day in the 9/10s by completing a variety of volunteering activities. We learnt about the importance of the day, as well as the importance in volunteering. We completed activities where we were able to display our school values and our employability skills.

9/10A and 9/10C worked hard on decorating the library to make it a fun and inviting space. They also tidied up any stray books.

9/10B ran a car wash where we gave back to our lovely staff by washing their cars for free.

9/10D worked on tidying up around the school, changing the school bins, and cleaning up the PBIS shop.

Literacy

9/10B have been having a great time during literacy.  We have been reading graphic novels in class, and now we are having the opportunity to write our own! We have been enjoying this unit of work, and we are working on our creativity. We are using digital technology to publish our finished work.

Senior Secondary (VPC/ASDAN)

10/12A and 10/12B students have been very busy participating in their offsite programs with great enthusiasm. It has been wonderful to see all the students develop some great employability skills and improved self confidence. Awesome work everyone!
