Celebration Spot

Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements etc. both inside school and outside school.

Please email reception@dcs.tas.edu.au with the details (we would love a photo too!) so we can celebrate together as a community.

All Schools Nationals

Congratulations to Sienna (Yr 5) who recently competed at the junior All Schools Nationals for Athletics at Sydney Olympic Park.  She jumped 4.03m and finished 13th out of 18 in the long jump. While this did not quite reach her Personal best it was still a fantastic effort at the national level! Sienna was also fortunate enough to compete on the track that was used as the warm up track at the Sydney Olympics.
