Choirs & Ensembles

What a wonderful year of music in our choirs and ensembles! Thank you for your participation and support of the music program. 

Ensembles and choirs will conclude their rehearsals in Week 9 (week commencing 9 December). In celebration of the students' music learning and collective effort, many ensembles will hold open rehearsals in Week 9 -- family members are warmly invited to join us at the open sessions. 

Auditions for our advanced ensembles will be held in early Term 1, next year. If you have been part of or are interested in joining an advanced ensemble, we would welcome your child to audition for Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra and/or Chamber String Ensemble. Audition information and sign up sheets will be posted at the start of the school year. 

Expressions of interest for 2025 choirs and ensembles will open in Term 1 next year. Please stay tuned for information to be shared via the school newsletter. 

External Music Learning Opportunities

The Arts Unit Combined Schools Musical

The Department of Education Arts Unit is excited to launch a new program in 2025 called the Combined Schools Musical. This initiative is an amazing opportunity for public school students across New South Wales to experience the magic of music theatre. Students can apply individually to be a part of the Lead Cast, with their family's support.
