Rowing

Congratulations to Team sVc for their strong performance at their first rowing regatta of the year. In blustery conditions, the rowing team raced in a mix of events, small and large boats, at the two-day regatta at Franklin, Huonville.

After winning their 4th straight Head of the River Junior Shield, and winning two National Gold Medals earlier this year, the students are eager to build on their success this season.

2024 Touch Football Tasmania Schools State Finals

Congratulations to Team sVc, runners-up in the Year 7/8 Boys division going down 1-2 to Riverside High, in a very skilful and defensive grand final at Prospect Park, Launceston.

The Year 7/8 team played magnificently all day, going undefeated in their pool matches and semi-final.  Unfortunately, the Year 9/10 team couldn’t put it together on the day and didn’t record a win.

Well done to all students and staff for representing St Virgil's College with such pride and commitment.
