These aren't Australian statistics, but statistics from the current Year 4-6 students at Aberfeldie Primary School. Over the past 12 months, we have seen a significant rise in students accessing and utilising social media and messaging apps in their day to day lives. In today's digital age, the technology and the internet plays a significant role in our daily lives, bringing countless benefits but also presenting unique challenges, especially for our children. As a school and as parents of primary-aged children, it's crucial to understand and navigate these challenges to ensure our kids stay safe online. This eSafety newsletter is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to protect your children in the ever-evolving digital world. By staying informed and proactive, we can create a safer online environment where our children can learn, explore, and grow responsibly.

In this newsletter you will find research based information on key issues children and families are facing. All information has been taken from Australian Government Agencies such as the Department of Health, Department of Education and eSafety Commissioner.
