YEAR 11
Year 11 Key Information
- For SEL this term, we are trialing a new program called PONDA. Ponda is a career pathway program that incorporates social-emotion education content to support students in making pathway decisions.
- This Tuesday (Week 6), our 2025 House Captain and Prefect candidates will present their vision and plan to their audience. This year, House Captain candidates will present a short pitch to their Houses, outlining how they will lead their respective Houses to success. Additionally, our Prefect candidates will pitch their vision and plan to staff, hopefully securing their mentorship for 2025.

Whole of College Key Information
ST MARY'S DAY CELEBRATION
NOTE: All students must wear their HOUSE uniform on Monday for this event.
On Monday, we will celebrate the life and assumption of our Patron Saint, Mary, with our iconic St Mary's Day. All students and staff will commence the day by celebrating Mass together before enjoying cake and morning tea in their respective Houses.
After morning tea, students will participate in various fun activities across the College. Traditionally, the 'Soaker' has been a favourite, where students can throw a ball at the 'Soaker'; if they hit the target, a teacher is 'soaked' with water! This is the only activity for the day where a GOLD COIN donation is required to participate.
After a free BBQ lunch, students will enjoy our annual Talent Concert in the HOB. The day concludes at 3:15 pm.
Please Note:
The Tuckshop will be open for student use from 10:45 am to 1:15 pm.
The Green Leaf Caféwill also be open, selling food and drinks prepared by students.
PRODUCTION OF ANNIE JR
In just under two weeks, our dedicated student cast will perform Annie Jr. on Opening Night!
An enormous amount of time and energy has gone into bringing a production of this magnitude to life from students and staff alike. We are incredibly proud of the commitment shown by the cast and crew, who put in long hours both during the week and on weekends to perfect the performance.
If you haven’t purchased tickets yet, please see the flyer below for details.
ASSESSMENTS
This week, we are officially halfway through the term. Assessments are well underway across all year levels. Please review the assessment calendars across the year levels to support your child in meeting deadlines.
