Student Leadership Forum

Project Rockit

Throughout the Project Rockit session, students explored important leadership qualities like confidence, communication, and empathy. They participated in fun activities and group discussions that helped you understand how to set a positive example, support their peers, and tackle challenges with a strong mindset. With the skills and strategies they have learnt, they are now ready to make a positive impact and be an inspiring leader in the school community!

"On Thursday, the leadership team spend a whole day learning about what respect is and how we can encourage it here at Brinbeal Secondary College. It was an exciting experience as this was the first time we had ever done this sort of activities. Respect is a positive feeling shown towards someone or something. It is important to show respect to gain it."

"If they respect you, respect them.

If they disrespect you, still respect them.

Remember, you represent yourself, not others."

"The student leadership team is focusing on Respect and how we can show it not only in our school but also in every aspect of our life, whether it's at home or at school. On Thursday our student leadership team made posters on what respect is and how we can show it. It was a very fun experience as we explored different things new and old. I would definitely do this again sometime. "
