State Cross Country - Thursday 18th July

The State Cross Country Finals were held on Thursday 18th July at the Yarra Valley Racing Club. Brinbeal Secondary College was represented by Elijah Azzopardi who competed with integrity and made the College proud. 

The state cross country was very very big and had a lot of people. On that day it was very muddy and it was raining a lot, kids were losing their shoes and slipping over. My experience as the only one representing the school was amazing all though I did not do my best I'm proud that I made the final stage and making it all the way to the end. I hope I can do even better for  athletics and do the same thing there and make it to the final stage once again and make this school proud.

Table Tennis - Wednesday 24th July

On the 24th of July 10 people from Brinbeal Secondary College had went out down to Eagle Stadium in Werribee for the Table tennis competition. We had 4 girls and 6 boys to be exact. The boys had gone 3rd in the table tennis competition. Brinbeal Secondary had versed two different schools (Tarneit P-9 and Good News College). Tarneit P-9 was more on our level, however Good News were on another level. Even though there was a school on a whole new level. We had a good time in the tournament, me personally I was only playing 2 games (1 loss, 1 win). This was probably the most fascinating time at Brinbeal secondary.

On Wednesday, July 24, 2024, our boys' and girls' table tennis teams went to a big competition. It was really exciting because we had the chance to play against some strong teams. The matches were challenging, but everyone gave it their all, and it was cool to see how much we’ve all improved. Even though the tournament was intense, we still had a lot of fun hanging out and cheering for each other. The whole day was memorable, not just because of the competition, but because we got to spend time together doing something we love and enjoy.
