Carrots are ready! The students loved finding a few carrots had grown enough to pick based on the "feeling under the soil" around the top to determine if it was large enough. There's lots of rocket and parsley which were a great addition to Jacqui's garlic bread last week. YUM!

We helped the mandarine tree by freeing it from competition with the couch grass, filling a whole green bin full. Well done kids!

Sadly our "little white" chicken passed away on the weekend. The kids are always so compassionate when they reflect on their loss. We are looking for some bantam hens if anyone knows of some available. Bantam's are dwarf sized chooks that would be easier for students to handle.

The students often ask about Autumn because they miss her visits, so l put together a photo board so they can see how she spends her time at home on our farm. She is disappointed when leave home without her.
