Milgate House Athletics

On Tuesday 23rd July, we were extremely lucky to have such an amazing day weather wise for our Milgate PS House Athletics @ Doncaster Athletics Track. It was terrific to see all our Yr. 3 – 6 students participating in so many events and trying their best to achieve for their houses. A big thanks to all the Yr. 3 – 6 classroom teachers, ES staff, parent helpers and the Yr. 9 Doncaster Secondary students. We must say without all this support Mrs. Collins and myself wouldn’t be able to run these events for our students. All your assistance was greatly appreciated.

All in all, it was a terrific day, and the results were as follows:

Green & Gold Day | Friday 2 August

To celebrate to “Paris Olympics” we are having a Green & Gold Day on Friday 2nd August. We are encouraging all staff and students to dress up in Green & Gold being the Australian Olympic colours. It would be terrific to see everyone support this day and let’s get behind the Aussie during the Olympics. In particular Abbey Caldwell, ex Milgate student who is running in the 800m in Paris.

Jeans for Genes | 100 skips a day in August

Mrs. Collins and I are encouraging everyone to get behind this challenge during August. We are encouraging everyone to Challenge yourself to do 100 skips every day in August to help find cures for the 1 in 20 kids facing a birth or genetic disease.
