St George Performing Arts Festival
Senior Choir
The Senior Choir have been busy working hard all year to learn a variety of songs and have been giving up their lunch times to rehearse. They attended two rehearsals at Peakhurst South Public School earlier in the year where they came together with other local schools to form a mass choir of over 200 students. Last Tuesday, they were given the opportunity to represent our school and perform at SPAF, held at Sutherland Pavilion. They performed beautifully and were an absolute credit to our school. They made us proud!

Junior and Senior Dance Groups
On the 3rd of September, both the Junior and Senior Dance Group performed the dances they have been practising at the St George Performing Arts Festival. We ventured to the venue to do a final dress rehearsal and later in the day, we performed in the Matinee. We had an amazing time watching other schools perform, cheering on our Choir, and getting on stage to show the audience our dances. The Junior Dance Group performed to the Trolls Soundtrack and the Senior Dance Group performed a piece called On the High Seas. At night, we came back and performed once again! We all had a fantastic time.
We have been working so hard all year with their early morning practices. Thank you so much to your families and friends that got you to rehearsals each Wednesday morning, as well as supporting Peakhurst Public School at the SPAF Performances. You did a great job and you all looked AMAZING!
