EXCITING UPDATES
We are very excited to announce that:
- Our FPS students are preparing some very special performances for the Fete thanks to Bree and Cultural Infusion/JumpStart!
- We are lining up some exciting guest performers to perform live!
- We will be offering free kids circus workshops on the day!
- We have secured a popcorn machine AND an ice cream machine!
- We have some amazing auction items and raffle prizes, including vouchers to restaurants like Coda and Entrecote!
- We have received a small grant from Yarra City Council to support our fete!
RAFFLE/SILENT AUCTION/HAMPERS
If you are able to source any of the below items for our raffle, hampers or silent auction, please either drop them into the Hamper Donation Box located in the office or contact Sally Armstrong (sallygarmstrong@gmail.com) and Marine Guillou (marineguillou@hotmail.com)
- Any unwanted gift that could be regifted
- Any vouchers
- Artworks
- Jewellery
- Merchandise
- Travel vouchers
- Hotel/holiday accommodation
- Goods/or services
- Services
- Bottles of wine
- Restaurant vouchers or chef/catering services (for private dinner party or cooking lessons)
Last call for items is by the end of Term 3 (15 September!)
DONATIONS FOR MARKET STALLS
- Any good quality second-hand books (including in different languages)
- Any good quality second-hand toys/books
- Any good quality second-hand children’s clothes
- Any handmade jewellery or craft

BAKE (OFF!) STALL
Want to express your FPS community spirit through baking? We want your home made sweet and savoury treats for the bake stall!
There will be more detailed information in our next fête newsletter but in the meantime, get your baking caps on!
SPREAD THE WORD
We would like to spread the word about our fete far and wide so please let your colleagues, families and friends know!
If you know anyone who could publicise the fete in a newsletter or on their signage board or to any community groups, organisations, childcare centres or other schools, there are hard copy posters and flyers available in the office and an electronic version of the poster can be downloaded here.
FACEPAINTING
We are excited to have two professional face painters on the day available to paint kids’ faces!
We are offering our FPS families a discounted price of $5 per Face paint if you pre-book ($6 on the day)!
All you have to do is just head to the School Office, write your name next to a time slot and pre-pay.
FETE VOLUNTEERS
If anyone is available to volunteer on the day of the Fete, either to help set up, volunteer at a stall or help pack down, or if you would like to assist in any other way, please let Ev evelyntadros@gmail.com 0402 137 182 or Lauren lauren.marquet@gmail.com 0411 112 145 know!
The next FPS fete committee meeting will be the first Friday of next term 6 October at 3:45pm in the Foundation rooms.
