Working Bee Thank you!

Thank you to the Barnes, Brown and Walsh families and staff, Sharny, Tim, Libby and Rai for their superb efforts during the Working Bee on Saturday just past. The shed is looking very clear and the Frog Bog now has a deep section for drought support (more information in the sustainability section).

Together we had a 'Bring a plate' morning tea, which was bountiful to say the least!

It kept everyone going for lunch as well.

Furniture for taking

Out the back of the larger portable, closest to the shed is a lot of old furniture. Mostly cabinets, trolleys and filing cabinets that someone may find useful for their shed. Below are some pictures. If you think you might find something useful please come and get it.

Just let the office know what and when. First in best dressed.

Responsible Pet Program

On Friday Tracey came and told us how to take care of pets and to look after them properly. She told us how to speak to them. She told us that a dogs body gets all puffed when it is angry and you have to stop and look down. Izzy was the dog. She was brownish black. We had to walk over to her and give her a pat on the back. You have to let her smell you hand. You have to ask if you can pat someone's dog.

2/3 SPLAT ART

2/3s explored "splat art" this week. We tested the effect of gravity when dropping cotton balls from different heights to see how far the splat went. A fun but messy session!
