Our Tour De Newham

Having checked out the back roads for our tour, we have found that some of the places we were hoping to use are not suitable for a large number of students. Therefore we will venture along Jim Road and back. Further information will follow about our tour, as we watch the weather and learn about bike safety prior to our ride.

Referendum cake stall/sausage sizzle

Please note that on the 14th October the School will be used as a polling booth for the referendum. On this day Newham Primary School will hold a fundraiser cake stall and sausage sizzle. If you are able to help please see our School Councillor; Sarah Crozier. Requests for support have gone out  via uEducateUs. We hope to be able to use this event to raise money for our soccer nets.

Mango Fundraiser

Get your summer started right with a fresh tray of Bowen Special Mangoes, formally known as Kensington Pride Mangoes, and help support our School. 

$5 from each tray of mangoes will be donated to the school to help fund our new Soccer Nets.

Each tray contains around 4.5kg of Mangoes (9 – 14 mangoes depending on size)

To take part, orders must be received by Tuesday the 24th of October 2023. Order forms have been sent home, if you require another form please contact the school office.

CRAFT-ernoons! The WHOLE SCHOOL will be involved!

Craft-ernoon job

This may be bigger than our students can manage but during the craft-ernoons, we have a large mosaic in 4 panels for the Frog Bog that has to be grouted and sealed. If there are any parents who would like to give this a go, (no experience necessary) we would certainly appreciate the help. The first craft-ernoon is  Friday 27th October at 2.45pm.
