Foundation Enrolment & Transition 2024 – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Next week will be the second of our 4 ‘Fly into Foundation’ transition sessions for students starting school in 2024. During the session time for children next week, parents had the opportunity to meet with Mrs Ninette Paolucci who will share information about how to support children’s reading and literacy at home, how our support and intervention program works, and what parents can expect students to learn in literacy and numeracy next year in Foundation. We hope to see all our new families back again for this session. 

Our ‘Fly into Foundation’ transition program dates for 2024 Foundation students are as follows:

Transition – Year 6-7

Albany Rise Primary School will be offering a range of Transition activities in association with local secondary school over coming weeks. The first of these is our visit to Wellington Secondary College on 30th August for a matinee performance of ‘Frozen’ by students at the college.

All students in Year 6 now have their confirmed secondary school placements for 2023.
