Year 6

YEAR 6

Year 6 have had a busy few weeks filled with exciting events such as Reconciliation, Soccer Gala Day, the Diocesan Religious Education Test, Chess Competitions, the Sheahan Showcase event, and many more!

We have also just completed our formal assessment period, with reports scheduled to be available this Friday. Meanwhile, learning continues as we dive deeper into our Science unit on Natural Disasters. The students have been conducting experiments that help us understand how ‘hotspot’ volcanoes are formed—making the concepts come alive through hands-on discovery.

Looking ahead, we are now preparing to create our Christmas Art projects. This is a time-consuming process and a highly valuable creative experience that the students really enjoy.
