Grade 2/3/4

It is the start of Term 3 and what a busy three weeks it has been already! Six more weeks to go.

In Literacy, we have been reading 'Matilda' and delving deep into sentence types. Students have been writing commands, questions, statements and exclamations and have been identifying these too!

In Numeracy, students have been completing multiplication and division equations. They have used counters and continue building on the knowledge of skip counting to help be the building blocks of their knowledge.

In Science, we are starting to look at sound energy. The students enjoyed exploring the waves and vibrations using musical instruments and showed off their musical talents.

In Humanities, we looked at the Gold Rush after the First Fleet in preparation for the 4's trip to Sovereign Hill! The 4's had a great time applying this knowledge with them and learning more about the Gold Rush phenomena.
