Staffing for Term 3

As this is an 11 week term, this will be last newsletter for the term.  I'd like you to inform you of some staffing updates for the term ahead.  Mr Moorhouse will continue his personal leave as he is still working on his health and I will continue in the role of Acting Principal.  Miss Amy Campbell will return 3 days a week and will be supporting the wellbeing team with profile applications for students with a disability.  Ms Georgia Ryan will increase her time fraction to fulltime and will continue to support our ES staff with the work they do in our classrooms and in the yard. We are still looking for a Year 6 classroom teacher so Mrs Doughty and Mrs Dyer will continue to share the class teaching until such time as a teacher is appointed.

Camp Quality – PJ Day

The wet and chilly weather did not stop us wearing our PJs to school.  We loved it – we were warm and comfy!  Lots of fun was had and it was all for a great cause.  QKR is still open for donations for a few more days – please donate if you can.  So far we have raised just over $700.

Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids impacted by cancer. Their services and programs help families build optimism and resilience through community, education and fun. We are there for kids (0-15 years) dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of a sibling or parent, every step of the way.

We’re proud to have improved the quality of life for kids facing cancer, and their families, for almost 40 years. We do this through our innovative Puppet Programs, Hospital Programs, and Recreation Programs. Camp Quality also provides online services and resources that are available 24/7 – whenever and wherever they are needed.
