Hi, we are Paul and Tom, two of the Enviro Leaders and we are focussing our newsletter column on the animals of BNW.

This is a poem that Tom wrote from the perspective of our family of magpies.

We fly around the grounds of the school

Making some of the kids feel cool

Bird watching and all

Maggie, Nigel and Paul

We’re the magpies of our school

It started with Maggie

she is the mum

she had her first baby

Nigel, that's the one.

Then paul came along

He was snuggly and cute

Got all the attention,

He was right up the shute

I’m maggies mate

i go by the name charlie

I like to hang out

Im radical and gnarly
