Year 12 Dux

We are delighted to announce the Year 12 dux for 2024, Arwilla Victoria, with an ATAR score of 85. Arwilla was our school captain for 2024 and has been an excellent role model for her cohort and the younger students. 

In her valedictory speech, Arwilla spoke proudly of her family's support of her during her final year of study and their kindness and care in ensuring she always had time to devote to her studies. She referred to the challenges she has faced in reaching this point and how perservering and believing in herself enabled her to achieve her goals. She also spoke of the role that she and her cohort will play in working to make the world a better place. We are immensely proud of Arwilla and her achievements at JFC.

Arwilla is a great example to all students of how she has demonstrated the values of John Fawkner College in her everyday work and attitude to her studies.

Arwilla will go on to study Psychology at RMIT in 2025, a fitting pathway as she also scored very high in the Psychology exam with a final score of 40.
